Boots are just jungle combat boots. They are altama with some sort of different sole, I can't recall the term for it. They are difficult to find these days. The pockets are made using one large piece of cardboard with pleather over them, and then folded into shape. I can't find the tutorial I used, but - that's the jist
I'm sorry if you addressed this before, but I would really like to see a making-of video for your costume (like, did you sew on the soldier logo? How did you make the Black Box and bevel the edges and whatnot, etc.) so that those of us who are less awesome than you can maybe make a costume too!
Really depends which one you want to make! Start by selecting the one you like the most, then measuring and getting the proportions down. Those are the MOST important things. Preplanning will save you so much time and headache, and will result in a better prop. My Black Box is actually slightly large proportionally.
Hey thanks for the fast answer, and by this point, pardon my english, it's not my first language: I want to create the stock Rocket Launcher, but the Black Box seems easier to make, oh, and about the materials? Sorry if I bother you!
I've seen your cosplay around the internet (mostly tumblr) and I swear, every time I see it I do a double-take. It's like the characters themselves popped right out of the screen and came to life. Not only are you the best Soldier and Sniper I've ever seen but you're one of the best, most perfect cosplays I've seen overall. I tip my hat off to you both, good sirs.
